SPARK MEETING 10/17/06
Presided by Ray Collins, WX3A;  7 members in attendance at Hickory Street Presbyterian Church.
Minutes from the September meeting were approved as read  (motion by Bob, WA3LWR; seconded by Bob, N3KSD).
Treasurer Ken, KB3FDP was absent from this meeting so no treasurer’s report was read.

Old Business:
VE test session report:  There were no applicants registered for the October test session so the test session wasn’t held.
Members discussed the Pennsylvania QSO Party. And Jamboree on the Air.

New Business:
Members talked about the radio room and the repeater.
It was noted by one member that participation in disaster drills by local hams has been poor in recent history.
It was decided that the club again have its annual holiday dinner at Café Rinaldi in Old Forge.
Bob, WA3LWR, put on a program about chasing DX.
